Darius & Cindy came to Christ Church in 1984 as members of the pastoral team with an emphasis in youth ministry. In 1986 they were elected as Lead Pastors.

ABOUT CINDY

Birth: November 18, 1961 in Ozark, Arkansas
Cindy was raised with one brother, Reggie Brock, in a pastor’s home. They moved frequently during her school years. She graduated from Ben Davis High School, St.Louis, Missouri in 1979.

Cindy is an accomplished pianist, singer, speaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She loves spending time with her two grandchildren—Daisy (2008) and Carver (2010); cooking (she dreams of having her own cooking show on the Food Network); and helping women discover the truths of God’s Word (she leads the Women’s Ministry of Christ Church).

ABOUT DARIUS

Birth: February 20, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas
Darius was raised as the middle child and oldest son in a pastor’s home in Fort Worth. He graduated from Southwest High School in 1974 and then Southwestern A/G University in Waxahachie, Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Ministry in 1978. He completed a Master of Arts degree in Practical Theology in 2010 from Southwestern.

In addition to his pastoral duties Darius serves on the General Presbyter ofthe North Texas District of the A/G; is a member of the Board of Regents for Southwestern A/G University; and serves on a variety of boards and committees of missionary organizations around the world. He has traveled in many countries of the world in teaching, preaching, and church planting.

Darius began his ministry at Calvary Temple in Irving, Texas under Pastor J. Don George for four-and-a-half years before serving as a traveling evangelist for two years.

Darius enjoys his family; mentoring and coaching church leaders; golf; reading and studying; working out (to over-come his addiction to eating); and writing.
